Earth Mosaic

I just wanted to share my submission for the project. It's a little piece of Earth outside my door. I hope people went out to shoot on Earth Day - the deadline for uploading your image is April 30. 

I wonder if you'll even be able to see my picture in the grand scheme of things :P

Happy Earth Day! I hope you did something nice for our Earth today :) Used less water, reused some paper, turned off the lights, all that good stuff we're supposed to be doing everyday! And hopefully we can keep it up.

By the way, I just came across a FANTABULOUS site for all you photographers out there (who might read my blog? maybe...?) tomorrow is Earth Day and there's this awesome project you can be apart of:

Earth Mosaic - basically you take photo on Earth Day (April 22; that's tomorrow!) and upload your bestest to this site. There's specs and stuff on the website to how you can upload, and then basically by next week, the organizers will compile a mosaic of the pictures taken from ALL around the world based on where you've taken the image!! How coooool!! 

You don't have to be a pro photographer with gear that cost you the price of a house to participate...seriously, if you have a camera, that's all you need :D I'll be taking my little P&S out for some snapping that day ;)

Sorry for the lack of posts & pictures. I've finally gotten a chance to breathe...and then BAM! Hello taxes! :( Deep down, I cry a little every day. Hahaha...I don't do well with numbers and math. Note to self - get an accountant next year. 

A TTD Shoot with E

Wow, days sure fly by nowadays! Honestly, I couldn't even remember what day it was - Wednesday? Oh, Thursday? Really? It's not Tuesday? Huh? And so I didn't turn on my computer for a couple of days as a result; I had 25 e-mails awaiting my reply. Whoops :( 

Anyways, I promised to show more TTD pictures with E (who by the way, was a FANTABULOUS model!!!! Yes, I'm talking to you E :) You completely made my shoot and I'm so glad you were up for anything. Trashing a dress is so much fun right? ;P Lots of mud, pokey vines, a snail graveyard, shopping carts....CRAZY!! But thorns and snails aside, I can't wait for doing another shoot with you!!)

Location Scouting

I took this photo when I was roaming the vast muddy plains of another TTD photo shoot. All I could think was "What type of bird could have made these prints?!" The footprints were actually about the size of my hand!! 

Huge crazy birds aside, the shoot went awesome and I have another round of images to edit :( In due time, I'll be posting the images from all my TTD shoots...hang in there ;)

Busy, busy

I'm slowly chugging through mucho images from a photoshoot I had this weekend....so I might not have time to post anything on this blog for awhile...or a couple of days? Haha! So much for my 'post a picture a day'! My goodness....who knew that it would be this hard? :O

Stay tuned for some rockin' images from my shoot(s) though! I've been so blessed to be surrounded by such great people who have faith in my work. Like I said, stay tuned for some crazy AWEEEESSSOOOMMMMEEE images!!!!

The Hoebag

I've been meaning to do a photo session with the one and only 'hoebag'! If you've been following my blog, you might have wondered who this person was since he will occasionally pop up in one of my entries ;)

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of doing a lifestyle session with him and I think the images turned out fantabulous! He looks like an Asian James Dean in his images and he totally rocked the shoot. Thanks again for coming out M, even though you made me try on dresses....hahhaha....

I used to see this groundhog on the way to the printer's, so when winter came to stay and grace us with the forever cold (can you believe it's going to snow again next week??) I hoped he would be okay. 

Lo and behold, after a long winter, he was perfectly fine! :) I was able to snap a quick picture of him (*ahem* again from my car - don't try this at home kids) with perhaps his lady friend ;)

***yes, I have been slacking in my blogging again! days just seem to fly for me nowadays with all the preparations for upcoming shoots! hopefully I'll be able to share some images when I get the editing done :) but I will try my best to continue to post a picture a day.
